The Remy Lane Mystery series reflects my interest in the theft and illegal sale of cultural antiquities. Combine these dark heritage crimes with a heartfelt desire for a second chance in life, toss in romance, and you've got an intriguing story line.

The relics and ruins littering the landscape of England, Wales, and Scotland fascinate me. I’ve driven down so many of the kingdom's back roads, embraced by people with deep historical roots and an amazing talent for storytelling. My passport, luggage, and wellies are well-worn as I wander across moody moors and rugged coastlines where getting lost often leads me to the best discoveries.

Wherever I go, I favor out-of-the-way historical sites and every type of museum but avoid the gift shops. My home already overflows with artwork and heirlooms. I’m intrigued by articles on art fraud, archeology, and antiques. I enjoy the dry wit of British comedies, the rich texture of period-piece productions, and the glamour of 1940s televised mysteries.
